We invite all our Web, Facebook and Twitter friends to participate
in this Essay Contest -- as a way of drawing closer to Jesus during
this time of Lent and preparing our hearts for the JOY of Easter.
WHO MAY ENTER:
Any person of any age may enter the contest with a 50 word Essay
on "What the JOY of Easter Means to Me." All entrants give
permission to Fr. John Catoir to publish their entry on his Website
(www.johncatoir.com) or Facebook page.
DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSION:
All entries must be submitted by Sunday, April 1, 2018.

Keep in mind that Lent is about preparation of the heart and soul,
not just about giving something up. It would be better to do small
kindnesses to those who need it -- the elderly, veterans, the poor,
those who are lonely. Your gift of time is as important as your
sacrifices during Lent. Love one another!
